One line
A magical-girl roguelike deckbuilder where four Awakened maidens of one rank fuse into a Final Form with her own signature power.
Short (250 characters)
A magical-girl roguelike deckbuilder. Play poker hands, stack Charms until the math breaks, then fuse four Awakened maidens of one rank into a Final Form with its own signature power. 81 Charms, 15 Orders, and 28 villainesses between you and Cycle 8.
Long
Alchemaidens is a magical-girl roguelike deckbuilder. Every hand is a poker hand and every card is a maiden. Stack enough Charms behind them and a Pair stops being a Pair and starts being a number with too many digits in it.
The twist is Fusion. Aspects, Finishes and Sigils don't decorate a card — they wake her up. Hold four Awakened cards of the same rank, in any mix of suits, and you can fuse them into her Final Form: one card, one signature ability, and thirteen of them to find. Elixirs wake cards at random and Shards wake the exact card you want, and both routes compete for the same money, so reaching a Final Form is the shape of the whole run.
Eight Cycles stand between you and the end of a run, each closing on one of twenty-eight villainesses who changes the rules while you fight her — debuffed suits, locked hands, cards dealt face-down. Fifteen alchemical Orders each hand you a different starting set of problems, and eight Trials sit on top for when the Orders stop being one.
What's in it

Logo and capsule art
The wordmark is drawn artwork on a transparent background. It sits on dark grounds; on a light ground, place it on a dark plate rather than recolouring it.
Purely For The Plot Studios
Alchemaidens is a solo project — design, code, art and music. Every maiden, villainess and background was made for this game specifically; nothing here came off an asset store.
Character art begins as generated images and is then hand-edited, and the soundtrack mixes composed and generated tracks. The Steam store page carries the corresponding generative AI disclosure.

Monetisation and coverage
You have permission to make videos of Alchemaidens, including monetised ones, on any platform, without asking. Streams, let's plays, reviews, guides and critique are all fine, and no separate licence is required.
The assets in this kit may be used in coverage of the game. Please don't use the art to represent a different product, and please don't present work-in-progress screenshots as the finished game.
